Fire engine

Herne Bay’s firefighters have once again been called into action after a fire broke out at a café in Richmond Street, Herne Bay.

Three fire engines were called at 10:59 this morning (Monday 20th November) to a deep fat fryer ablaze, and used a fire blanket to extinguish the flames.

They then used a fan to clear the smoke from the property.

No one is believed to have been injured in the fire.
