Police investigating a report of a burglary in Herne Bay have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak with.

A car has crashed into a tree and bushes on the Old Thanet Way in Herne Bay, seriously injuring a 19 year old man from the local area.

Kent Fire and Rescue Crews were called to the crash involving a blue Vauxhall Corsa which left the road at around 2.30am, while travelling between Chestfield and Greenhill.

Co-op in Beltinge

Kent Police are appealing for witnesses following two burglaries in the early hours of Monday 18th September 2017.

The two incidents occurred at Co-op in Reculver Road, Beltinge and the Post Office in Island Road, Upstreet, and police investigating believe they are linked.

Herne Bay Tandoori

A man has been convicted for an assault carried out at a restaurant in Herne Bay.

The incident happened on 27th February 2017 when Soyed Zahib Salari assaulted a man at a restaurant in the High Street.

Kent Police are appealing for witnesses and mobile phone footage following an act of vandalism to a Victorian shelter on Herne Bay seafront.

Between 10:00pm and 11:42pm on Saturday 26th August 2017, window panes were pulled out and large pieces of wood torn from the shelter in Central Parade.

A teenager from Herne Bay who was reported missing has been found and is safe police have confirmed.
